Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) plus 4 years post qualifying experience in relevant discipline.

For Counsellors/Psychotherapists a minimum of 4 years accredited as Counsellor/Psychotherapist

References from current Supervisor and/or Line Manager.

Currently in a Supervisory role or have access to potential Supervisees.

This Postgraduate Certificate in Creative Supervision is designed for experienced professionals in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Play Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies, Arts in Health & Education, Social Care, and related fields.
With a strong focus on creativity, reflection, and experiential learning, you’ll explore supervision through creative and reflective approaches, gaining the skills and insight needed to supervise others with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

Practical supervision experience with both individuals and groups Students will be required to carry out 50 hours of supervised practice with supervisees. 25 of these hours will be with external supervisees and supervised by an external supervisor. It is therefore ideal that students are currently in a supervisory role or have access to potential supervisees. Payment for supervision (5 hours) is made directly by students to external supervisor and is
not included in the course fee.
