You’ll also learn how to set up and manage a complete computerised bookkeeping system, correct common accounting errors, and apply analytical skills to assess business performance. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality across all financial processes.
The course supports learners in taking responsibility for their own learning, while building independence and confidence in managing financial data in a professional environment. It is ideal for those who have completed Level 5 or have relevant experience and wish to progress into finance roles or manage accounts for their own business.
A Windows-based computer must be used, as the supplied software is not compatible with Mac or Chromebook devices.
All course materials — including the bookkeeping software — are provided at no extra cost. In addition, all DIFE Night School students receive a free one-year Microsoft Office licence, offering further support for at-home learning and practice.
This course runs over 10 weeks. In four of those weeks, students will attend two classes instead of one. Your tutor will confirm this on your class calendar.
