Course Requirements
• Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent
• Interview
• Mature applicants welcome
• Applicants whose first language is not English will require a competency as stated in our admissions policy.
• Ukranian applicants should have a certificate of complete secondary education (after grade 11) or higher.
• If the course becomes oversubscribed, priority will be given to students who intend to complete the full award.

You can apply for a course at SligoCFET from early January to the first Monday in October each year.

There are no fees to study this course

The maintenance grant is means tested and the award of a grant amount is the responsibility of http://www.susi.ie/.

You will be called for interview in March, April, May or August, depending on which course you have applied for. Following your interview, you will be offered a place, placed on a waiting list or advised of other course options.
