Entry Requirements
It is desirable that applicants have participated in primary and post primary education.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate some skills relevant to the course, and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Be able to work with responsibility and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
Applicants must complete an informal interview to determine suitability for the course.

What are the progression opportunities
Employment as a music, song or dance teacher. Employment in the Arts, Event Management or Promotion. Students may also progress onto a wide range of Higher Education options in the areas of Music and Performance Arts.

You’ll improve on your chosen instrument and try other ones, learn how to orchestrate and arrange music and song, produce and perform concerts and develop skills in critical listening, music theory, teamwork and communication.
