Entry Requirements
It is desirable that applicants have participated in primary and post primary education.
Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject, and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Be able to work with responsibility and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
Applicants must complete an informal interview to determine suitability for the course.

What are the progression opportunities
Learners will have the skills, knowledge and competencies to pursue employment in a variety of business and administrative roles, e.g. administrative, logistical and marketing, data processing positions in a range of organisations.
Graduates can go onto further education such as the Level 6 Certificate in Business.
By availing of up to 390 CAO points through this course, graduates can apply to a variety of Business programs at local universities, including campuses of the Atlantic Technological University and the Technological University of the Shannon.
