1 year full-time/2 years part-time online. Delivery Method: Blended.
Study Hours:
Completion of a Masters degree requires significant commitment of time and effort. Full-time students can expect to attend approximately 12 hours of classes each week and it is recommended that students are prepared to commit another 24 hours for independent study. Part-time students should expect to commit half that amount of time.
On-Campus Attendance
Most modules have on-site hours, one module is taught fully online and some modules are blended.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must hold a cognate Level 8 degree with a minimum grade classification of H2.2 or equivalent. Applicants with other qualifications and with relevant work experience may also be considered through ATU’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.

Flexible learning courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January.

It will expose learners to the range of tasks and challenges facing the modern HRM and/or ER manager and enable them to develop effective and efficient responses to those challenges.
Who should apply?
This programme will be attractive to anyone seeking to take the lead in Human Resource Management or Employee Relations in an organisation or anyone who interacts with and manages people in general. In addition, it will be of interest to final year undergraduates, who wish to develop their people skills further and complete an independent study on a HR/ER topic of their choosing. Learners will be exposed to a range of tasks and challenges facing managers and the goal is to develop graduates who will maximise value through employees and provide an effective response to changing labour market conditions.

The dominant approach is frequent coursework assessment (CA) that will take place throughout the semester. However, some formal exams will take place after the teaching semester which reduces the assessment workload on students during the semester.
