This course is designed to equip students with a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to work under supervision as a Physiotherapist Assistant or within the Sports therapy/injury industry.

• Mature applicants welcome
• Applicants whose first language is not English will require a competency as stated in our admissions policy.
• Ukranian applicants should have a certificate of complete secondary education (after grade 11) or higher.
• If the course becomes oversubscribed, priority will be given to students who intend to complete the full award.

There are no fees to study this course, however, students will have to purchase some additional items when undertaking this course such as;

• 1 Massage Belt

The maintenance grant is means tested and the award of a grant amount is the responsibility of http://www.susi.ie/.
You will be called for interview in March, April, May or August, depending on which course you have applied for. Following your interview, you will be offered a place, placed on a waiting list or advised of other course options.

Pre-University Physiotherapy Studies - 5M3782
This course is designed to equip students with a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to work under supervision as a Physiotherapist Assistant or within the Sports therapy/injury industry. Students may progress to further education in this specialist area or in the health sciences. Students receive hands-on experience in treatments which encourage general health and well-being in an applied learning environment.
Erasmus+
Participants on this programme have the opportunity to apply for a three-week work experience placement in Tenerife or Malaga. (Students must be over 18).
