Art & Design with Portfolio
This is a portfolio preparation and general art course designed for students aiming to enter third-level art colleges in Ireland or abroad. The course focuses on developing a well-balanced portfolio, alongside skills in art, craft and design. Students are encouraged to express their individual style through the use of colour, pattern and design, drawing from the course modules and their own creativity. Depending on module choices, students can achieve a qualification in Fine Art or Design/2D.

Careers / Further progression
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates may progress to art diplomas or degrees at institutions such as NCAD, TU Dublin, IADT, TUS, SETU, ATU, MTU, UCC, Dun Laoghaire, Marino Institute of Education, Marino College and Ulster University.
They can also access Level 7 or 8 courses in other fields at technological universities across the country. Alternatively, graduates may seek employment in art, design, craft or community arts projects. Many students go on to QQI Level 6, Higher National Diplomas or degree programmes in areas like Graphic Design, Interior Design and Fashion Design.
