Entry Requirements
Entry requirements
Entry to the course is by audition/ workshop and interview (The Audition Process/Day takes place between 2 to 4 hours). Previous training in performance is not required. Applications from mature students particularly welcome.
Audition requirements:
All prospective students Auditioning for the Performance Course are required to prepare either
• one Classical (Shakespeare) Monologue or
• one Modern Monologue from a recognised Playwright.
A Dance Routine will be taught on the day.
A Verse from a song will be taught on the day.
All of the above will be followed by an interview.
General College Entry Requirements
You should be at least 16 years of age.

Level 4 Major award

Features of the course
• This course demands from the student a high level of commitment to personal and professional development and training.
• Students work in different styles e.g. classical, modern and contemporary works, musical theatre.
• This course enables students to gain experience through opportunities to audition for three full productions each year, two internal productions and one full scale musical theatre production in a professional theatre venue.
