No prior experience of User Interface Design is necessary, students should be familiar with the basics of web design to benefit from the course.

Technical Requirements
This is an online course delivered over the internet. The following technical requirements apply RAM 4GB; Windows 7+, Minimum screen resolution 800×600, Chrome; Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher; Flash 25 or higher; broadband connection of at least 10Mbps; Javascript and cookies enabled; Sound card with speakers or headphones.

The CIW User Interface Designer course prepares candidates to take the CIW User Interface Designer exam, which, if passed, earns the individual the CIW User Interface Designer certification. You may optionally take an exam to receive CIW Certification. CIW exams are completed at home or work at a time that suits you, using a proctored (supervised) exam. Your webcam is used to supervise you during the exam.
