Extended Campus
Extended Campus (EC) at SETU Carlow works with organisations in the design, development and validation of customised programmes relevant to industry and employer needs. Programmes are often designed to bridge a gap that currently exists and or to support the future needs of an organisation and are offered through flexibly delivered timetables that fits into work life and avoiding long commutes to and from the classroom.

The programme aims to develop NFQ level 8 graduates to be experts in applying industrial engineering principles in industry situations. While graduates are adept in the existing tools of industrial engineering upon completion of the programme, they also have the understanding and practical experience to be problem solvers using industrial and systems engineering principles in the workplace. There are also five minor awards at level 6, 7 and 8. These are all 20 ECTS.
