Duration
This course will run two evenings per week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm - 10pm for 15 weeks plus 2 bank holidays.
Entry Requirements
Education: NFQ Level 5 in a relevant discipline when accessing a Level 6 programme. CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 6 courses for those whose first language is not English Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway Additional requirements may apply to non-EU/EEA Applicants and may be subject to full international fees (Please refer to Information for International Learners) *Each provider may have additional requirements, not outlined above
Aptitude: Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Previous Experience: Applicants must be able to demonstrate a moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to exercise initiative and independence when carrying out course activities.
NOTE: The following are required in order to pursue this course:
• Access to your own device (desktop, laptop or tablet)
• Adequate broadband connection
• Good IT skills
English Language Requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English must have certification of a competency of B2 in reading, writing, listening and speaking on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFRL). Proof of certification shall be required.
Please note if your nationality is from outside the European Union (EU), you will be required to provide proof of a valid Stamp 4 with valid GNIB Number or if you are currently in Direct Provision you will be required to provide a copy of your Temporary Resident Card along with a Labour Market Permission Letter as issued by the Department of Immigration/Foreign Affairs.

Recruitment:
Applicants who match the target audience outlined above may be invited to an information session prior to the start date. Registration (first night) will be in-centre. For those who are outside of the county who cannot attend, we will post out a registration pack together with a prepaid, self-addressed envelope.
Course Aim:
The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to identify training and development needs and to deliver and evaluate a training intervention within a range of training and development contexts.
