Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
The conditions of enrolment listed below apply to all enrolments, regardless of whether they have been made by phone, online or in person.
1. An Enrolment may be effected by a friend or relative provided it is with the full knowledge and consent of the person being enrolled.
2. Places in class are non transferable unless with the permission of the Director.
3. Classes are formed only when numbers warrant it.
4. The student, on enrollment, subscribes to the regulations and is bound to observe them. The Director reserves the right to suspend persons from classes and premises as deemed appropriate.
5. School authorities regret that responsibility cannot be accepted for loss or damage to the property of students. This includes cars, motorcycles and bicycles on the campus.
6. Transfers may only be negotiated through the Enrolment Centre and must be requested by the third week of term. All transfers are subject to a handling charge except in the case of closed classes or moves to a different level in the same subject.
7. The Director reserves the right to close a class or vary the hour at any time for any reason which seems appropriate to him.
8. Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or for other reasons outside our control may be rearranged within that term but not after the term ends.
9. Refunds are made only when a class fails to form and is otherwise at the discretion of the Director.
10. Smoking is prohibited by law in any part of the Centre.
11. All classes running for two hours or more are timetabled for a tea break. Classes shorter than this are also welcome to a break by negotiable with the tutor.
12. Important. Please make sure that the course in which you are enrolling is suitable to your needs as course fees are not refundable except where a course fails to form. ?
13. On receipt of an application together with the correct fee, a receipt will be issued. This may be taken as verification of Newpark's acceptance of your application. If we are unable to accommodate you in your chosen course, we will contact you to ascertain whether a full refund is required or if another course if preferred.
14. Only FULL fees (as listed in brochure/website) can be accepted prior to attendance in class.
15. If you qualify for a discount (see brochure) the appropriate amount will be refunded when you call in person at the Enrolment Centre on the first night of term. Please bring your receipt and appropriate evidence if senior citizen, student or unwaged.
16. All applications will be dealt with on a strictly "first come first served" basis.
