Whether you’re a novice gardener or looking to improve your skills, this course is the perfect way to cultivate your green-thumb. Discover the fundamentals of gardening in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This course will cover topics such as plant care, seasonal maintenance and basic garden design and will provide learners with skills to approach horticultural endeavors with confidence.

This is a classroom based course with the possibility of a field trip during the term. The course leader, Aoife Nic Fhionnlaoich, has worked as a garden centre horticulturalist, a gardener in an historic estate and as a guide at the National Botanic Gardens.
