Course Description:
The land of the rising sun is a country with a long history and a fascinating culture. This course will cater for beginners. Whether you are planning a trip to Japan, or simply interested in learning more about this amazing country, this course could be for you.
Your teacher will be Amanda Kiernan. After working in the Japanese education system for 3 years, Amanda qualified as a language teacher in Ireland and has been teaching Japanese to Leaving Cert students for the past 10 years. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Japanese translation and has worked as an examiner for the Leaving Cert oral exams.
The eight-week course will cover:

Week 2 Getting to know you
Week 3 My town
Week 4 Hobbies, likes and dislikes
Week 5 Daily life
Week 6 Making plans
Week 7 Invitations
Week 8 Eating out
