Career opportunities exist across all sectors where digital technology is driving business, including IT services, gaming, recruitment, consulting, app development, software as service, financial services and marketing.
Graduates work in roles in business development, customer relationship management, client services, technology support and digital sales across a range of sectors.
Graduates may progress to a diverse range of business or technology postgraduate programmes in Ireland and abroad.

This 3-year business degree explores the fundamentals of business and the fusion of business with digital technology.
Digital fluency is the language of the modern world and on this three-year degree course, students learn the many ways digital technology underpins business. Students develop the skills to move seamlessly between key stakeholders in digital businesses.
The role of technology and digital strategy has never been more important and this degree develops graduates who can transform businesses through digital projects. This degree provides future-proof career opportunities. Technology oriented business professionals are among the top earners globally.
What will I do?
Explore how the fundamentals of business, management, finance, and marketing operate in digital- and technology-enabled business.
Develop practical skills in internet and digital business applications, content development, and basic web building.
Investigate digital disruption, digital transformation, and the ever-changing business and technology landscape.
Build on your critical thinking and analytical skills with 100% continuous assessment.
Network with graduates working in the tech sector for mentor sessions and at guest lectures or alumni events.
What will I study?
In first year, you are introduced to the core elements of business including Accounting Fundamentals, Business Management, Web Applications and Data Analysis.
By second year, you undertake more specialist modules in business with further focus on developing your academic and practical approaches to technology. You have the opportunity to do a work placement in industry (between 17 and 20 weeks) or study abroad for a semester.
In your final year, you adapt a strategic focus around marketing, management, finance and technology with opportunities to enhance your practical skills in sales, big data and digital business transformation.
