Course Description:
Mental Wellbeing and Performance – “Understanding the key elements of mental wellbeing, learning the tools to positively impact your mindset and how to improve your overall life performance” Aim(s): 1. Educate: students on the various facets of the mind, mental wellbeing, mental skills and how they impact life performance. 2. Understand: Help students to understand their reality through the learned topics and how they could start to implement it in their own lives. 3. Support: Students as they take the key knowledge and skills learnt and try to apply it to their own lives week on week.

Psychological Skills Rationale Motivation
- Understanding the different types of motivation and how it applies to habits and behaviours Self-Awareness
- Understanding self-awareness, the benefits and how to build it in your own life Confidence/Self-Belief
- Understanding confidence/self-belief and practical ways to improve your own Stress and Anxiety
- Understanding stress and anxiety and how to positively influence it in your life Vulnerability
- Understanding vulnerability and why it’s important for growth Goal Setting and Attainment
- Understanding how to goal set and achieve goals Resilience
- Understanding resilience, what it means to be resilient and how to practically build it in your life Methodology: Delivered through face to face presentation, practical groupwork and conversation.

Desired Outcomes:
1. Students to understand the key concepts of the mind and mental wellbeing.
2. To understand the practical applications of the concepts mentioned above.
3. To gain a deep insight into how these concepts can be applied to their own personal lives.
