Hairdressing & Beauty Studies
The overall aim of the programme is to provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence in hairdressing theory, practice and skills to work independently and under supervision in a hairdressing environment and/or to progress to further or higher education or training.

Duration
1 year full-time.
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4.
Mature students with relevant life or work experience. All candidates will be interviewed individually.
Careers / Further progression
This is the equivalent of Stage 1 of the National Hairdressing Apprenticeship Program. Students can progress to stage 2 on successful completion of this course.
