Welcome to QualifaX – Ireland’s National Learners’ Database
QualifaX is Ireland’s National Learners’ Database. It is the “one stop shop” for learners. We provide the most comprehensive information on further and higher education and training courses. QualifaX became part of the National Qualifications Authority in January 2008. In association with FÁS, the National Training and Employment Authority, QualifaX is developing services to ensure that you have all information you need to make informed choices about your education, training and career paths.

Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Subject Choice
See the long term implications of the subjects choices you are making. See the full list of CAO courses which require a specific Leaving Certificate subject, including the grade and level required.
The qualifications system in Ireland has been modernised with the introduction of the National Framework of Qualifications. Learners are encouraged to use the NFQ to identify the qualification they will achieve before making decisions.
