Student Services Fee
A standard charge of 50 per programme is payable by 30th September online.
Materials Charge
This amount depends on the chosen programme.
It covers the cost of essential materials, workshops, guest speakers etc. Full information on this fee for your chosen programme will be available from the college office/website. Materials fees are only refundable on a case by case basis.
Tuition Fee
Free to EU Nationals.
Students who are non-EU nationals are subject to economic fees set by Department of Education and Skills. Enquiries to Further Education Section of the Department of Education and Skills.
Certification Fee
Payment online no later than 30th January. At the time of going to print all Certification Fees for Level 5 certification fees are 50 and Level 6 certification fees are 80.
Medical card holders are exempt from this fee.

It is not necessary to wait until an offer of a place has been made to apply for financial assistance. The following are the two main forms of financial aid available for KCFE students:

Student Maintenance Grant:
This means tested grant is a source of financial help available to students on full time Post Leaving Certificate/ Further Education programmes. Check out all grant application information on www.studentfinance.ie SUSI, the grant body, provides a support desk for queries regarding grants, eligibility and the application process. Back to Education Allowance:
Mature students may qualify for assistance by means of Back to Education Allowance which allows adults to return to full time education while continuing to get income support. People in receipt of certain social welfare payments can retain payments whilst participating on our PLC/Further Education programmes. All BTEA information is available from the Department of Social Protection /your local Social Welfare Office.

On completion of this Diploma, graduates can transfer to the ACCA Professional Qualification, where they will be exempt from a number of exams. The Professional Qualification trains graduates to become fully qualified ACCA accountants. Alternatively, Institutes of Technology and other colleges offer opportunities for further studies. Check with the admissions office of any institution you are interested in attending as exemptions are available for subjects on these courses.
EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS:
Employment prospects from this course are many and varied. Every organisation/business requires Finance personnel. Graduates can expect to secure employment in accountancy practices, finance and payroll departments of both public and private sector organisations. Examples of organisations include Government Departments, County Councils, Banks and other Financial Institutions, Manufacturing and Service Organisations.
