Further applications are accepted over the summer months and similar interviews take place in early September for any remaining vacancies. This course qualifies students to apply for careers in the public service for fire and ambulance personnel. There are also employment opportunities with private ambulance and event support companies. The qualifications gained on completion of this course are internationally recognised. Students can also work as Healthcare Assistants. Students will also be offered the opportunity to complete training as an Emergency First Responder (EFR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and complete a Fire Training Week.
