| Course Content |
This course offers a choice of two areas a student can focus on in this area of tourism. One offers a broad business focus on the tourism industry in Ireland and abroad with a view to progressing to further education or employment. The other offers a focus on airline studies with a specific focus on progressing to a career in Cabin Crew or ground attendant. Students will gain experience in a tourism related business by completing a work placement during the course. |

All applicants will be invited to an interview to ascertain their suitability for the course. Further applications are accepted over the summer months and similar interviews take place in early September for any remaining vacancies. All applicants will be notified by post as to the results of the interview.

Applications are invited from those who have completed Leaving Certificate. Mature students and recent school leavers are also welcome to apply. All applicants will be interviewed. There are course charges in relation to both the QQI exams, and the non-QQI elements of the course. |
| Careers or Further Progression |
On sucessful completion of this course students may progress within the institute to QQI Level 6 Business award or to 3rd level colleges in various related disciplines eg: hospitality or business studies. students may also progress directly to employment with airlines or other tourism related industries. |
