The Government's ECCE scheme (2009) requires that at least one person in each childcare centre or crèche has this qualification. It will provide a major boost to your career prospectus if you are interested in developing a career in childcare, working as autonomous practitioners and to lead and supervise others in the provision of quality early childhood care and education in a variety of ECCE settings. |
