This course introduces learners to the area of Fashion with Business components. The course provides the learner with the necessary knowledge to work in the fashion industry in a range of areas including retailing, wholesale or design. Students will be equipped to progress to further study either in the area of Art and Design with portfolio preparation or pursue studies in the area of Business. |

Students who successfully complete this course may gain entry to Third Level Institutes and Colleges through the FETAC/QQI Higher Education Links Scheme. There are many progression opportunities from Fashion Design with Marketing course QQI Level 5. At present there are students who need the primary skills associated with art, craft and design to make informed choices about whether to pursue a career in Art and Design. This course enables students to prepare an Art Portfolio.
There are several opportunities for students to progress from QQI Level 5 Fashion Design with Marketing to specialise in either design or business with the inclusion of business subjects in this qualification.
