one copy of your degree or equivalent qualification

the programme fee
a letter from your employer confirming that fees will be paid directly to the IPA.

The Postgraduate Diploma takes one year to complete. Students attend lectures at the IPA on one evening and on one full weekday. |
| Course Fee |
The cost of the first year of the programme (Postgraduate Diploma in Policy Analysis) is €7,900 per annum. the fee for the second year (Master of Economic Science in Policy Analysis ( is €5,000 per annum. Fees include all matriculation and examination fees, all seminars, textbooks and course material, payable in two instalments. |

The second year - during which students attend scheduled seminars - is devoted to the preparation of a dissertation.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Policy Analysis is a one-year, part-time programme that focuses on improving the policy-analysis skills of Irish public servants. It responds to a palpable need for greater understanding of project management, economic and financial analysis, social policy analysis, cost benefit analysis and data analysis.
