Hide-Research and teaching programmes in Science and Engineering at NUI Galway are integral to the six key enabling technologies (KETs) identified for the re-industrialisation of Europe. These include photonics, nanotechnology, advanced materials, micro- and nano-electronics, industrial biotechnology and advanced manufacturing. Multiple key enabling technologies are now recognised to be important building blocks of future advanced manufacturing platforms. This intensive structured MSc by research will provide students with advanced training in the application of these technologies in advanced additive and subtractive manufacturing pilot lines at NUI Galway.
