Application Date Please note applications for current cohort commencing September 2017 is now closed.
Duration One evening per week (Wednesday 6-10pm) plus 6 weekend classes between September 2017 and May 2018. The first class begins Wednesday at 6pm on 6th September 2017 (induction at 6pm on 4th September). The first 3 weekend class dates are as follows: Saturday 16th Sept (9-5pm); Friday 6th October (6-10pm) and Saturday 7th Oct (9-5pm); Friday 20th Oct (6-10pm) and Saturday 21st October (9-5pm). The remaining 3 weekends will be in the second semester in Spring 2018.
Entry Requirements A pass in five subjects in the Irish Leaving Certificate or an equivalent examination. For those not possessing a pass in five subjects, relevant experience and/or evidence of other part-time courses may also be considered. Applicants are required to have a minimum of two years work experience with at least six months supervisory experience. Applicants are required to complete a recognition of Prior Learning portfolio containing evidence of the requisite prior learning.
