This is a day-time delivered programme running over one year, with attendance required on one day per week plus a one week residential. On alternate years, the residential is held abroad (in Germany). Classes are delivered on Tuesdays or Thursdays (depending on timetables), and will be supported by blended learning and significant on-line material. Assessment will comprise course work and/or examination. Exams take place in January and May. |

This special purpose award is aimed at enhancing learners’ understanding of strategy and business planning in practice. It comprises two modules – ‘New Venture Finance’ & ‘Applied Strategic Management’. The programme aims to provide learners with the relevant skills and abilities to critically compare business models and diagnose key strategic issues for various industries; develop a strategy and an in-depth financial plan for a proposed project (including a risk assessment), and strategically communicate this plan to relevant stakeholders.
