•There are no entry requirements to complete this course, however before sitting the Six Sigma Black Belt exam, you are required to have completed two projects or one project and three years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Body of Knowledge. Work experience must be in a full time, paid role. Paid intern, co-op or any other course work cannot be applied towards the work experience requirement.

The Six Sigma Black Belt training course for certification seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes. This course leads to certification by the ASQ through the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt certification exam and is designed to assist learners as part of their exam preparation. It builds on foundational knowledge that is taught in our ASQ-aligned Green Belt curriculum. • You may optionally take the ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt exam. Six Sigma Black Belt requires two completed projects with signed affidavits or one completed project with signed affidavit and three years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Body of Knowledge. • This exam is assessed through computer-based exam. Examinations are conducted twice a year, in March and October. All examinations are open-book. Exam centres in Ireland are in Cork and Shannon. Exam fees are not included in the course price. Contact us for more details.
