The module aims to introduce the learner to human growth and development from infancy to old age. This equips the learner to work effectively in a variety of community/social care settings, where frequent demand is made on the individual to relate to people at various levels of ability.
Safety and Health at Work 5N1794
The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to understand the role of the HSA along with such topics as health and safety legislation in relation to employers, safety statements, risk assessments, accident prevention and reporting, fire emergency procedures, personal protective equipment, disposal of hazardous materials, infection controls, first aid and safety signs.
