This part-time course is designed to provide students with computerised office skills to enable them to return to work or progress to further education.
The Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) provides part-time courses for young people and adults, especially those who have not completed Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) qualification. The BTEI creates an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities. Anyone who has left full-time education can take part in a course, but priority will be given to those with less than upper second level education, for whom tuition is free.
Duration: One year, part time.

FEES
This course is funded under the Back to Education Initiative which encourages those on certain Social Welfare payments, Medical Card holders and Early School Leavers to return to education.
A non-refundable deposit of 20 euro secures a place once an offer has been made. This charge allows credit towards photocopying and printing.
Exam Fees:
The exam fee is currently 50 euro. Medical Card holders are exempt.
