Hide-This new and exciting course combines traditional core business subjects with the important skills/tools of online strategies to maximise business opportunities. Having liaised with industry, this course has been developed to recognise the changing business environment and offers students up-to-date training and experience in relevant business and digital marketing modules.
This integrated course equips students to pursue career opportunities within a business environment and/or progress to Higher Education on a full or part time basis in both business and marketing courses.
On completion of the QQI Level 5, students with a merit profile can progress onto the two year full time Higher National Diploma in Business in Inchicore College of Further Education.

The Learning Environment
Students will engage in a range of learning experiences including business and digital marketing case studies, group work and industry project work.
We are committed to providing a nurturing learning environment through greater educational support and smaller class sizes, helping students build their confidence and fulfil their potential.
Students attend College 4 days each week and are required to complete 1 day a week in work placement and a two week block placement where they will gain valuable experience.

Hide-Course fees range from €300 to €400 depending on the course. The fees cover costs of examination entry and certification fees as well as any course materials and personal equipment to students. The fees also cover a range of other services and activities provided for, or engaged in, by the students such as some trips, cultural and sporting events, accident insurance policy fee and student services fund fee. in addition to this, the Government levy of €200 will also apply for those applicants who do not hold a medical care.
Enrolment Deposit
Students who accept the offer of a place on a course must pay a non-refundable deposit of €50. The balance of the fee must be paid on commencement of each academic year.
External Examination Fees
Students who choose to enter for examinations other than those set by QQI and/or BTEC must pay the appropriate exam fees to the relevant examining authority.

The Department of Education and Science has introduced a maintenance grant scheme for Further Education students. Application forms are available online at www.susi.ie.
A member of staff is responsible for helping students with their grant enquiries. |

1st Round In March/April, 2nd in Mid-May, Late Applicants in Late August and early September. |
| Application Date |
Applications are welcome from 1st December of the year preceding the course start year.
Interviews are then held at regular intervals from the following March onwards. First round of interviews will take place during March/April. Second round interviews will take place in mid-May. Late applications will be interviewed when the Leaving Certificate Examinations are finished or in early September.

Business students with Digital Marketing have the opportunity to participate in placement. This is fully funded by the European Commission. Students must meet eligibility requirements to participate in these projects.

Students who have reached a Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied standard are invited to apply. Mature students without formal qualifications but who have relevant experience may also apply.
Admittance to the course will depend on satisfying an interview board of the candidate’s suitability. |
