Enrolment and Start Dates Comment Part-time evening courses commences on Monday 2nd October 2017 for the Autumn term. Courses will run on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evenings. Learners will have opportunities to upskill by partaking in courses with QQI certification or take courses which have a social or personal interest.

Course Content Course Overview:
Introduction to Digital Photography using own cameras, very practical class.

Learn to use your Digital compact or Slr. Classes taught in an informal workshop style, most of the photography topics covered in or at locations local to the College. One to one instruction given on operation of camera features.
Subjects Taught 1. Tuition given in basic and effective use of camera functions, focus, depth of field, exposure compensation, ISO, white balance etc.

2. Basic instruction in composition use of Colour or Black & White.

3. Use of different types of Zoom settings.

4. Portrait, Landscape, Close up (Macro) & Still Life Photography

5. Night time photography session on location outside of the College.

6. Printing successfully at home and at the processing lab.

7. Use of lighting.
