Hide-Basically, the aim is to demystified DIY. Week by week you will gain a bit of experience under instruction and will develop confidence with tools, building materials and methods; in a relaxed step by step approach to basic DIY.
We will cover the use of a power drill and its bits, for basic DIY jobs from hanging things on the wall to furniture assembly. The course looks at a house on a room by room basis. We will attempt tiling which is a lot of fun because it is a bit messy. Some electrics and plumbing are covered. By the end of the class you will be able to re-imagine a pallet or create a shelf and hang it on any wall with confidence in the house or garden.
Teacher: Fergus O'Donoghue
