CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship

All applications are made directly to the college by filling in an application form and emailing it to us. An application form can be requested by completing the online form in the Apply Now section of our Website. (http://www.bimm.ie/dublin/)

Applicants may apply for both the BA and the CPD courses – only one audition will be required.

Entry Requirements The minimum entry requirement is successful completion of one module at Level 5. This is equivalent to one subject at Leaving Cert level. Applicants must be 17 on 1st January in the year of entry. All applicants must also attend an audition to determine their eligibility for the course.
Eligibility If you are a Non EU applicant who has a visa stamp 1, 3, or 4, you are eligible to apply. If you are on a student visa, stamp 2, you are not eligible to apply for part time study.

Course Content If you’re a musician striving to reach your full potential, but you can’t commit to a full-time programme, then the CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship can help turn your passion for music into a career.

This one-year practical and vocational course is ideal if you want to further your musical abilities on a part-time basis of 4.5 hours a week.

Graduates can progress directly to a career in the music industry, or can continue their study with a BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals or Songwriting at BIMM.
