VTOS - Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme
To be eligible you must be over 21 years, and 6 months in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment. This grant may include the cost of some books, lunch and travel expenses.
Interview 1st round of interviews for all courses is in May 2017. Final round is at the end of August for remaining places.

Mature Entry Places Mature students are invited to apply.
Entry Requirements Leaving Certificate or equivalent or appropriate work place experience.
Qualified therapists are granted exemptions from subjects already certified.

English Language Test
Applicants who do not have English as their first language may be asked to take a test to assess whether they will benefit from participation on a particular course. This English Language Test will be in addition to the minimum entry requirements as outlined for each course.
Careers or Further Progression Employment Opportunities
Graduates of this course have the option to work on a freelance basis or as employees in a variety of industries including Theatres, Make-up Studios, on Film and TV Sets etc. and on a range of media productions including editorials and high fashion (catwalk). Alternatively graduates can expect to find employment with international cosmetic companies, as cosmetic consultants/make-up artists and cosmetic counter managers.
