GARDA VETTING
Garda Vetting is now a requirement for all students who wish to attend Templemore College. Offers of a place are provisional pending the outcome from the Garda vetting process.
GUIDANCE, SUPPORT, AND SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS
All students have access to the adult guidance and counselling service in the College. The College will endeavour to provide appropriate supports for students with special education needs and is dependent on the budget received from the funder.
EUROPEAN WORK EXPERIENCE - ERASMUS +
Fully funded opportunities for European Work Experience, for up to 35 students, is provided each year in Germany, France, and Spain. This opportunity is available to students who are interviewed and deemed suitable for this option.

Additional Fees include:
•Student Services Fee – €195
•Department of Education and Skills Fee – €200 (exempt if medical card holder)
•QQI Examination Fee €50.00 (exempt if medical card holder)
Students can expect guest facilitators to provide a number of specialized workshops during the year with Certification.

All students are now encouraged to apply on-line where possible. However if you wish to complete a paper copy please contact the College. Closing date for the receipt of first round applications is Wednesday 26th April 2017.
Our application service is open from November each year. Early applicants may be invited for interview before May, however most interviews are normally held in May of each year.
Offer of places will be subject to completion of interview, the achievement of the minimum entry requirements, and the completion of the Garda vetting process. Applicants will be notified of their interview results in a timely fashion after the interview.
Late applications will be processed, subject to the availability of places, in late August 2017. As places on all courses are limited, early application is strongly advised.
A non-refundable administration fee of €10 applies to all applications.
Please note that full medical cards (not doctor only cards) may be used in relation to some fees.

| Entry Requirements |
Leaving Certificate or equivalent or appropriate work place experience.
Qualified therapists are granted exemptions from subjects already certified.
English Language Test
Applicants who do not have English as their first language may be asked to take a test to assess whether they will benefit from participation on a particular course. This English Language Test will be in addition to the minimum entry requirements as outlined for each course. |

Employment Opportunities
Graduates of this course have the option to work on a freelance basis or as employees in a variety of industries including Theatres, Make-up Studios, on Film and TV Sets etc. and on a range of media productions including editorials and high fashion (catwalk). Alternatively graduates can expect to find employment with international cosmetic companies, as cosmetic consultants/make-up artists and cosmetic counter managers. |
