You will be invited to an individual or group interview. Applicants interviewed between February and August may be made a conditional offer.

Conditional offers are subject to you meeting the specified entry requirements and any other criteria. If you already meet the entry criteria you may be made a firm offer.
Step 7
Results
If your conditional offer is dependent upon examination results you must present them at the College as soon as you receive them i.e. A Level results day. Results will be verified and final offers made.
If a course is over-subscribed the College reserves the right to enhance the entry criteria. Details of enhanced criteria will be provided at interview.

(1) A suitable Level 3 qualification, for example a BTEC National Diploma or Certificate or a BTEC Extended Diploma, or suitable subjects at GCE A-level.
(2) Applicants should have a minimum of 72 UCAS points, but entry requirements may be enhanced depending on demand and other factors.
(3) Applicants must also have at least 4 GCSE grades at C or above to include Mathematics and English. (Essential Skills is acceptable only as an alternative to GCSE English)
Applicants who do not possess these entry requirements may be considered on the basis of their general education and experience using the College’s APEL procedures. Final selection will be by interview.

HOW TO PAY FOR A HIGHER EDUCATION COURSE (FULL-TIME)
Payment of fees must be arranged prior to course commencement. Fees indicated on this site apply only to UK residents and those having EEA Migrant Worker status (EU). Those who are not in these categories must contact Central Admissions for the appropriate fee. Fees are payable every year of a two or three year programme and may vary depending on the fee set for any particular year. All additional charges are highlighted within the course page information.
Full-Time Students Options for Payment of Fees for 2017/2018
The tuition fees for Northern Regional College Higher Education courses for 2017/2018 are £2,500 per annum. The options for payment of these fees are detailed below.
Option 1 – Payment by Student Loan
You may apply to Student Loans Company for a Tuition Fee Loan for payment of your fees. Application forms are available from reception on all sites or can be downloaded from the Student Finance website www.studentfinance.co.uk. It is advisable to apply as early as possible. The College requires a copy of the letter you receive from Student Loans Company confirming that you will be receiving a Tuition Fee Loan.
Option 2 – You do not require a Student Loan
a) Fees may be paid in full by cash, cheque or credit/debit card.
OR
b) Fees may be paid in instalments by direct debit. This means that you will be required to pay a 25% deposit and then three subsequent payments will be collected from your bank account by direct debit on 1 December 2017, 2 January 2018 and 1 February 2018. Please note that there is an additional £10 administration fee charged when paying by instalments which must be paid with your deposit.
Please note that the fees refund policy does not apply to full-time higher education students. All students enrolled in the College as at 10 November 2017 are liable to pay their full fee.

The Foundation Degree in Business with Digital Technology is validated by Ulster University. It has been specifically designed to meet the needs of employers and recognises the need for strong IT skills for the growth of todays’ economy. A particular emphasis of this course is to prepare managers and business leaders to be able to manage and interpret information, communication and technology in business. This course is designed to produce talented business leaders with the skills and expertise to enable local businesses to compete and succeed in international markets.

Special Features
Foundation Degrees require a significant period in work placement. This is evaluated and assessed by a research project based on a work place problem or improvement. This is a good opportunity for students to gain meaningful industrial experience and create opportunities for future employment.
