This course is designed to
Provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work in an effective manner in their role as supervisor within the Health Service.
Offer enhanced opportunities in employment and will also enable the learner to progress to other appropriate programmes leading to awards at higher levels of the National Framework of Qualifications.
To enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work as an autonomous practitioner and or take responsibility for the work of others in leading and coordinating the provision of quality health services.
