The BTEI provides part-time Further Education programmes for young people and adults. It aims to give participants an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities. Programmes are offered in partnership with a number of agencies throughout the country on a flexible part-time basis. Classes are offered throughout the year in the morning, afternoons, evenings or weekends. Courses lead to a range of accreditation at levels 1-6 on the NFQ.

Hide-This is a fresh new approach, based on a flexible menu that allows you to pick and choose the courses that you want from a list of options. You can choose to undertake 1 course and attend 1 afternoon per week or you can do 2, 3 or 4 courses at a time. You can choose to undertake courses from the same general area or you could choose from a mixture of sectors.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

How long is the course for?
The courses are run on 4 afternoons per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and there are 12 classes per course.
What do I get out of it?
The courses are certified by FETAC at Level 4 or 5.
