This one year add-on programme accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) prepares the student for a career as a Health and Safety Technician.
Graduates will be key members of the construction team who are responsible for ensuring that site operations are executed in a safe and efficient manner. They will work as a member of the Health and Safety department of a construction company, to assist the company’s Safety Officer in ensuring the construction operations are carried out in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and the company’s Health and Safety Policy.

The programme is suited to students who wish to work in the construction industry in Ireland or abroad.
