This one year full-time Level 7 programme provides a unique blend of practical application and theory to equip students with both additional skills and education necessary for a career in the Hospitality industry in a supervisory capacity.
The programme is designed to enable both recent graduates and experienced individuals to maximise their potential both personally and professionally. This programme contains a significant work placement and has professional links with Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Irish Hotel Federation and the Restaurant Association of Ireland.
Students are required to attend LIT from September to February followed by a full-time paid work placement from March to August. Duration of work placement is 600 hours minimum.
Who is the programme suited to?
The BA in Hospitality Supervision is very suited to students who have a keen interest in developing a professional career in the Hospitality sector at a supervisory level.
This programme will allow both persons who hold a Higher Certificate in Hospitality Studies or equivalent (Level 6) and/or relevant industry experience to extend their knowledge and skills in this exciting industry.
