Course Content Course Description:
GIS is a system designed to capture, store manipulate, analyse, manage & present all types of spatial or geographical data. Differing agencies use GIS in planning & organising data both in the public & private sector. This introductory course will demonstrate the basic concepts of GIS through an introduction to Quantum GIS open source software. Ideal course for anyone that works with maps & geographical data.
