Fees are refunded Only when classes are not formed. Refunds are not made in any other circumstances. Please retain your receipt for refunds. Refunds are made through the Cork ETB and not the college. The refund process takes a minimum of three weeks. Student services and administration are included in the cost of courses.
All Examination costs are included in the course fees. Most examinations take place during the last week of April and the first two weeks in May. Exceptions to this are the Royal Horticulture Certificate in Horticulture, which take place in June 2017.

People who are in receipt of an old age pension or in receipt of a social welfare payment are entitled to a concession. To obtain this concession the college will need a photocopy of documentation to show what payment you are on. This must be presented on registration along with your pps number. This can only be given at the time of registration. |

Course Description:
This course is suitable for those interested in career opportunities in horticulture and may not have the time to study full time. It covers 8 modules in total and gives a good basic understanding of a wide range of gardening topics over 2 years.
The certificate in the Principles of Horticulture is achieved over 2 years with 4 modules undertaken each year. |
