Hide-VTOS offers adults a second chance at education by providing a range of courses that are aimed at improving a person's ability to gain employment or to progress into either Further or Higher education. VTOS programmes allow adults to explore the learning opportunities open to them in order to raise their general educational level and to develop their vocational skills. Adults return to education in a supported environment, working with teachers who are experts in teaching adults. Such a learning environment aims to develop the whole person, with students becoming more self confident in their own abilities and more informed in their learning choices.
The eBusiness programme offered here is a Business Technology based accredited course incorporating a full QQI level 5 eBusiness Award. It is designed to allow the student to gain a solid knowledge of the principles and practice of eBusiness and digital marketing in order to gain employment in the business sector or to prepare for entry into further or third level education. This course is particularly suited to those interested in setting up their own business. Students will have the opportunity to forge strong links with local employers and entrepreneurs. Students from this course will participate in the annual Meath Enterprise Week showcase event and will help to organise a seminar event in VTOS, Navan. Subjects offered in this programme, include: eBusiness Studies, Web Authoring, Digital Marketing, Communications, Start Your Own Business and Work Experience.
