Course Content Are you interested in working with people suffering from dementia and their caregivers? Do you know someone who has been diagnosed with dementia? Or are you interested in finding out more about dementia in general.

This course offers a basic grounding in the facts surrounding dementia as well as practical information in relation to experiencing life with such, from the perspectives of both caregiver and cared for.

Subjects Taught • Living with Dementia – Learn to speak to a person with dementia or Alzheimer’s at its different stages
• Dementia Care – Healthcare settings, caring in the home.
• Support for those living with dementia, and what services are available to them and the care giver.
