Course Delivery
The course takes place over one semester (14 weeks) with a combination of in-class and online delivery. Classes run 9.00am to 4.00pm.

Entry Requirements You MUST be:
»» A Registered Midwife with the Nurse/Midwifery Board of Ireland or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months post-registration experience.

»» Currently employed within a relevant maternity service.

Who Should Apply?
This course will allow midwives who care for acutely ill women to develop their knowledge in the assessment and management of acutely ill woman within maternity services. All midwives who have regular contact with women during the perinatal period should consider applying for this course.
