| Entry Requirements |
A Level 8 Honours Degree (2.2) or equivalent professional qualification in a business related area or Higher Diploma in Business (Level 8 ) with a minimum of three specialist marketing modules at Level 7 and/ or 8.
Applicants who do not have a relevant Level 8 qualification may be considered for admission where they have minimum of seven years relevant business/marketing experience through IT Sligo’s RPL process. |

Programme Description:
The programme prepares students for a career in marketing at managerial or senior executive level. Candidates will develop their capacity to provide marketing insight and thought leadership in an organisation. The course will be delivered through a combination of interactive learning, case studies, guest lectures, seminars and workshops. Assessment will be based on a combination of continuous assessment and end-of-semester examinations. |

Hide-Course Structure: An induction session at the beginning of September gives students the opportunity to meet lecturers to get an overview of subject content. There will also be a centrally-organised on-line induction process. Modules covered will include export marketing practice, service leadership through creativity and innovation, sales practice, digital marketing and marketing ethics.
Students will also cover contemporary marketing, research methods, brand management, entrepreneurship, financial analysis and strategic marketing management. In addition, there is a professional seminar series and all students will be required to submit a dissertation.

DELIVERY: Classroom/Online delivery on a full-time or part-time basis. This Masters Degree has a blended-delivery approach; some modules are delivered on-line while others require a day and a half attendance per month. |
