Hide-This programme is for those who wish to acquire or further develop their management and leadership capacities. All those actively involved in strategic thinking and practice. It is also relevant for specialist functional managers, e.g. IT and HR who are beginning to contribute to the strategy process.
This is a programme which will provide students with the the critical elements of leadership: strategic thinking and the process of strategic management, managing change, and effective leadership. Opportunities are provided to reflect on the application of relevant conceptual models in order to develop and expand your leadership and strategic management skills. The programme is at level 9 and comprises 20 ECTS credits which can contribute towards further awards up to MSc level.
This programme delivers foundation modules that enhance the students learning experience and leadership skills in a manner that is conducive to a employed health care professional.
What will I learn?
The ability to contribute more affectively to strategy in your organization and improve your confidence when engaging in strategic discussions and making strategic decisions. This certificate offers students the opportunity to study two modules and can be used to build on future learning. Credits are awarded that can be used to proceed to MSc level. It is also aimed at preventing time away from the work place by being scheduled on Monday mornings and flexibility in payment also. Students who have not got a primary degree but a lot of experience can apply for consideration through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) process.
How will I benefit?
Credit obtained from this programme will readily contribute to an MSc degree for those who wish to pursue that option in the future.
