The BTEI provides part-time Further Education programmes for young people and adults. It aims to give participants an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities. Programmes are offered in partnership with a number of agencies throughout the country on a flexible part-time basis. Classes are offered throughout the year in the morning, afternoons, evenings or weekends. Courses lead to a range of accreditation at levels 1-6 on the NFQ.

Hide-Education: No formal education or qualifications are required although applicants may have participated in primary and secondary education. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 2 when accessing a Level 3 programme.
Aptitude: Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Previous Experience: Applicants must be able to demonstrate a limited range of knowledge, skills and competencies skills relevant to the course and be able to work under direction.

Sí an Ghaeilge teanga labhartha an ionaid agus fáiltíonn muid roimh cainteoirí do theangacha eile chomh maith.
This is an introduction to computers with a view to progressing to level 4 or directly onto VTOS Business Administratioin & ECDL at the centre. Irish is the spoken language of the centre and we welcome speakers of other languages also.
