1) Be in an active teaching role and have an academic (lecturing) contract.
2) Have a significant teaching commitment. The definition of “significant teaching commitment” is a minimum of 2 hours teaching per week or 50 hours over the course of the academic year.
3) The teaching role needs to be on programmes within a university or at NFQ level 7 or above.
Normally applicants to these programmes will hold an honours degree or equivalent in any discipline.

If you are not employed by UCD you will also need to submit:
- Official transcripts of degree qualification(s)
- Letter of recommendation from an academic referee

2) Be in an active teaching role and have an academic (lecturing) contract.
3) Have a significant teaching commitment. The definition of “significant teaching commitment” is a minimum of 2 hours teaching per week or 50 hours over the course of the academic year.
4) The teaching role needs to be on programmes within a university or at NFQ level 7 or above.
Normally applicants to these programmes will hold an honours degree or equivalent in any discipline.

The Certificate of CPD is a one module programme offering faculty the opportunity to take an in service programme which runs for one semester only.

- Research-informed and experiential approaches to developing your repertoire of teaching, learning and assessment strategies
- Learn about creative approaches to teaching through discussion with your peers
